Its 10-inch loudspeaker combined with a 1-inch tweeter delivers balanced sound distribution for speech, announcements and background music. Thanks to its wireless headset microphone, the Roadman 102 HS B5 is particularly suited to fitness coaches, teachers, lecturers, presenters, guides, associations and speakers in educational or cultural settings. The headset keeps the hands free for writing, demonstrating a movement, handling equipment or interacting naturally with the audience.

This battery-powered PA loudspeaker is also suitable for small musical performances, ceremonies, speeches, outdoor meetings, places of worship and community events. With a maximum sound pressure level of 115 dB, it provides the necessary headroom to effectively cover a moderately sized group in a room, courtyard or reasonably sized outdoor space.

For mobile DJs and event organizers, it is a relevant secondary solution for providing sound at a cocktail reception, welcome area, workshop or speech. Its portability allows it to be set up quickly wherever a conventional active loudspeaker would require mains power and more cabling.

Voice, music and multimedia sources combined in a self-contained loudspeaker

The Roadman 102 HS B5 features an 80 W RMS and 320 W peak Class D amplifier. This amplification delivers dynamic sound reproduction while preserving battery life. Bass and treble controls make it possible to adapt the sound to the environment, whether the priority is speech intelligibility or adding more presence to playback music.

Two microphone or line inputs on combination XLR and 6.35 mm jack connectors allow additional sources to be connected, including a wired microphone, instrument, mixing desk or audio player. Independent controls make it easy to balance voices, music and external sources. The Voice Priority function can automatically bring the voice to the forefront when someone speaks.

The integrated player supports audio CDs, MP3 CDs, USB drives and SD cards. This makes it possible to play a playlist or jingles without a computer. The Audio-Link function also allows the loudspeaker to be integrated into a larger setup, with a master and follower configuration. The wireless system operates in the 655–679 MHz frequency range.
