The MAUI 44 G3 is a column PA solution designed for stages, DJ sets and events requiring powerful sound reinforcement without complex logistics. Its 4-way architecture combines the easy setup characteristic of column systems with the dynamic headroom required for professional performances.

With its passive cardioid design, it stands apart from traditional column systems through more controlled directivity. More acoustic energy is directed towards the audience, while unwanted rearward sound towards the stage is reduced. This provides a tangible benefit in terms of listening comfort and intelligibility, while helping performers on stage do their best work.

This active column loudspeaker is aimed at mobile DJs, bands, entertainers, event production companies and event organisers who want to cover large audiences with a system that is quick to deploy. It is equally suitable for weddings, corporate events, concerts, clubs, multipurpose venues and temporary indoor installations.

Its 120-degree horizontal and 25-degree vertical dispersion ensures wide, even coverage while limiting unnecessary reflections. Vocals remain clear and present, even at high levels, making it particularly well suited to live performances, speeches and high-impact playlists.

Cardioid architecture and DSP processing for precise sound at high levels

The subwoofer enclosure features a 15-inch neodymium loudspeaker capable of delivering tight, extended and powerful low frequencies. Its bass-reflex ports with optimised airflow reduce turbulence and port noise, even when the system is pushed to high volume levels.

The two-element column combines 14 3.5-inch neodymium midrange loudspeakers with 4 1-inch compression drivers. Optimised waveguides and phase plugs help ensure even high-frequency dispersion. The horn-loaded midrange drivers further enhance efficiency and projection, delivering expressive vocals and consistent reproduction across the entire listening area.

Class D amplification and the second-generation DynX DSP processor work together with Peak, RMS and thermal limiters. The result is powerful, balanced sound protected against excessive levels, even in the most demanding performance situations. The two XLR/jack combo inputs, Thru outputs and subwoofer output make it easy to integrate into an existing setup.

Bluetooth 5.4, compatible with the SBC and AAC codecs, makes it easy to stream music from a compatible device. For even greater performance, a second MAUI 44 G3 subwoofer can be added: facing forwards to increase low-frequency pressure, or facing backwards with the cardioid preset to further reduce bass levels behind the system.
