A "mix & play" format in the spirit of the MIX G3 range
The LD MIX 10 A G3 follows the "all-in-one" approach: a powered speaker designed for gigs where quick setup and portability are as important as sound quality. With its built-in mixer and onboard processing features, it targets small sound reinforcement setups, rehearsals, events, and light stage use, while maintaining scalability: standalone in mono or paired with a passive LD MIX 10 G3 via the speakON output to create a simple and coherent stereo system.
Who is it for and what are its uses?
This active speaker is ideal if you need a compact system capable of handling multiple sources without additional equipment: vocals, electric guitar via hi-Z input, keyboard, audio player, smartphone, or tablet. It is particularly suited for duo musicians, small bands, events, conferences, and classes, as well as a personal monitor solution thanks to its stage monitor format and monitor angle.
Its lightweight and easily portable format, combined with controlled sound dispersion, allows clean sound reinforcement for a close audience while preserving vocal clarity and punch in the low-mids, even at higher volumes.
Integrated mixer, DSP, and connectivity: the heart of versatility
True mixing control, directly on the speaker
The integrated 7-channel mixer accepts a wide variety of sources. You have 3 mic channels with 2-band EQ and 48 V phantom power for condenser microphones (as needed). For instruments, the switchable hi-Z input on CH1 facilitates direct connection of a guitar or bass, while a stereo line channel allows easy integration of an external audio source.
Global equalization and clear level metering
To quickly adjust your sound in the room, the master section offers a 3-band main EQ dedicated to overall sound shaping. The 4-segment LED meter helps visualize levels and optimize gain, whether you are rehearsing, performing, or speaking.
16 DSP presets, Bluetooth streaming, and built-in protections
The integrated DSP provides 16 effect presets to adapt the tone and ambiance to your use, without an external processor. The Bluetooth audio streaming is convenient for playing hold music, backing tracks, soundtracks, or lesson materials from a mobile device.
For reliable operation, the speaker includes a limiter and protections against overcurrent, overload, short circuit, and overheating, ensuring amplifier safety and system longevity.
Dedicated outputs and stereo expansion
The output connectivity includes XLR outputs for monitor and subwoofer, useful to complement your setup (separate monitor, subwoofer) while maintaining simple cabling logic. A speakON output allows powering a passive LD MIX 10 G3 and quickly setting up a stereo configuration without adding extra components.
