An "all-in-one" speaker designed for mobile sound reinforcement
The Roadbuddy 10 was designed as a compact and autonomous solution to amplify a voice, event, or musical accompaniment without relying on mains power. Its 2-way architecture combines a custom 10" woofer with a 1" compression driver, all powered by a class D amplifier with switching power supply, to combine efficiency, headroom, and compactness.
Who is it for and what are the uses?
This battery-powered powered speaker is aimed at users who need to provide sound reinforcement "anywhere": speeches, classes and coaching, guided tours, small stages, community events, sports events, corporate presentations, or background music playback. Thanks to its mic/line inputs, built-in player, and included wireless microphones, it can operate as a mini autonomous PA system, quick to set up and easy to control.
Control, connectivity, and audio playback: everything is integrated
The Roadbuddy 10 focuses on versatility: Bluetooth playback, USB and SD card sources, as well as real inputs for wired equipment. Each source has level control, making it easy to balance voice and music in real situations.
UHF transmission and included accessories
The system relies on wireless transmission with two built-in UHF radio receivers operating in the 584 to 607 MHz range. Depending on the version, it comes with two handheld microphones, two headset microphones with belt packs, or a combination of both, as well as a dedicated IR remote control for the player.
Simple and effective mixing
For wired sources, you have two channels on combo connectors, each with independent volume and a switchable mic / line setting. There is also a stereo RCA input (summed to mono) and a 3.5 mm Aux mini-jack input. The Treble, Bass, Echo, and Master controls complete the interface to quickly adapt the sound to the voice, venue, and desired volume level.
Transport and setup
Designed for mobility, the lightweight plastic enclosure features swivel wheels and a sliding handle for trolley-style transport. A top compartment allows storage of up to two handheld transmitter microphones, and the speaker can be mounted on a 35 mm tripod to improve sound coverage.
