A Unique Model in the Lewitt Range: "TS" Technology for Flexibility

The Lewitt LCT 640 TS stands out from classic large-diaphragm condenser microphones thanks to its "TS" concept: its two diaphragms (25.4 mm) can be used in an advanced way, with separate front and rear signal outputs. This approach positions the microphone as both a production and capturing tool, designed for those who want to secure a take and keep decision-making flexibility during mixing, without sacrificing the character of a true large-diaphragm microphone.

Intended Uses: Vocals, Instruments, and Creative Studio Captures

Designed for studio recording, the LCT 640 TS is particularly suited for vocals (singing, voice-over, premium podcast), acoustic guitars, pianos, strings, wind instruments, as well as ambiance recordings. The 5 polar patterns facilitate room control and spill management, while the dual front/rear capture opens creative possibilities: adjusting the amount of ambiance, "tightening" an overly wide take, or correcting imperfect microphone orientation post-recording.

Key Features: Control, Safety, and Stress-Free Workflow

Adjustable Directivity and Polarity After Recording

The main advantage of the LCT 640 TS lies in its ability to allow polarity and directivity adjustments after the take. This flexibility is valuable when placement must be quick, when the source moves, or when deciding between a tighter (cardioid) or more open (omni) capture during tracking.

Automatic Attenuation and Silent Controls

The switchable Lewitt automatic attenuation system helps handle dynamic range variations without interrupting a session. In manual mode, the clip history allows precise sensitivity fine-tuning. All settings are made via timed, silent buttons that are backlit for readability even in low light.
