EC-300 Native is an echo and modulation plug-in designed to enrich a production, mixing session, or sound design session with precise repeats, deep ambiances, and rhythmic effects. It covers both "utility" needs (tempo-synced delay for vocals, slapback for guitar, subtle echo on a synth) and creative treatments (wide ping-pong, unstable tape-like textures, saturated and moving delays).

Thanks to its mono, stereo, and mono-to-stereo versions, EC-300 Native easily integrates on individual tracks or effects buses to create a sense of space, enhance groove, or provide a coherent sonic signature to the entire track.

Three Types of Delay to Cover All Styles

The core of EC-300 Native relies on three complementary delay types. Magnetic offers an organic response and a sense of movement ideal for vintage ambiances and unstable textures. Digital targets clarity and precision, perfect for tempo-synced rhythmic repeats and modern effects. Analog prioritizes warmth, roundness, and natural musicality, very effective for thickening a source without harshness.

Each type offers a wide variety of character modes to adjust the personality of the repeats: cleaner, more colored, more pronounced, or deliberately imperfect depending on the desired aesthetic.

A Lively Tone: Saturation, Wow, Flutter, Ducking

To avoid a "frozen" delay, EC-300 Native includes sound-shaping tools directly in the plug-in. Saturation densifies repeats and adds grain, while wow and flutter introduce subtle (or pronounced) pitch and speed variations, ideal for more expressive echoes. Ducking helps maintain the clarity of the dry signal by automatically attenuating repeats when the source plays, then letting them rise between phrases.

Rhythm and Stereo: From Slapback to Immersive Ping-Pong

EC-300 Native offers single, dual, and ping-pong configurations to manage rhythmic complexity and stereo width. From short slapback that brings a vocal forward, to alternating left/right returns that widen a synth, you can build realistic depth or a highly stylized space. The presence of tap tempo and session synchronization makes it easy to achieve a delay perfectly locked to the track, even during tempo changes or quick production adjustments.
