FilterBank Native v7 is a suite of equalizers and filters designed for key mixing and sound design tasks: cleaning a take (rumble, sibilance, resonances), shaping an instrument's place in the spectrum, enhancing presence without harshness, or creating more expressive filtering effects through resonance control. Its "all-terrain" approach suits both fast modern sessions (where you want to get straight to the result) and finer treatments on vocals, drums, guitars, synths, and buses.

Three Complementary Configurations

FilterBank includes three distinct plug-ins, each with a clear philosophy. The idea: choose the right tool according to the intention (correction, contour, character), while maintaining consistent ergonomics from one module to another.

E606 combines several types of processing in a single configuration: high-pass and low-pass filters, low shelf and high shelf EQ, plus two parametric bands. It's a natural choice for everyday mixing when you want to clean, balance, and focus without multiplying instances.

F202 focuses on steep filtering with resonant Q control. Perfect for tightening the low end of a bass or kick, removing intrusive bass, creating filter sweeps, or emphasizing an area around the cutoff frequency for more musical effects.

P606 emphasizes parametric EQ with variable Q modes, useful for moving from precise correction (narrow notch) to broader, more organic shaping depending on the track's needs.

Musical EQ: Shelves, Parametric, and "Peak-Slope-Dip" Behavior

The EQ sections cover classic uses (shelving and parametric), with shelf parameters designed to go beyond simple boost/cut. The "Peak-Slope-Dip" settings allow fine-tuning the shelving curve shape: handy for opening highs without making the sound harsh, thickening lows without a "muddy" effect, or creating a more distinctive signature on a bus.
