What McDSP Live Pack II Native Is For
McDSP Live Pack II Native is an audio plug-in suite designed to process, stabilize, and shape a mix in real time, with responsiveness tailored to live performance constraints. It meets the needs of sound engineers both at front of house (FOH) and monitoring: dynamic control, precise equalization, management of problematic frequencies, signal cleaning, and intelligibility optimization, all while maintaining a fast and reliable workflow. In the studio, this pack remains relevant for advanced mixing tasks, especially when seeking effective and musical processing on vocals, buses, and masters.
Main Features
A Complete Mixing Chain Designed for Speed
Live Pack II Native gathers essential tools to build a coherent processing chain, from individual channels to the master bus. The channel strips and dynamics processors allow you to save time by centralizing key settings (EQ, compression, gating, coloration), which promotes a responsive and easily adjustable mix during a concert.
Multiband Control and Dynamic Mastering
To tame vocals, instruments, and buses without sacrificing musicality, the pack emphasizes multiband processing and mastering-style solutions. This is especially useful live to contain register variations, maintain a solid and clear low end, and stabilize presence without harshness, even when stage conditions change.
Cleaning, Intelligibility, and Sound Design
Beyond the "classic" mix, Live Pack II Native includes tools focused on noise reduction and dialogue processing to improve clarity in challenging environments (sets, conferences, recordings). More creative plug-ins complete the suite to add character, simulate lo-fi effects, or transform a source in a controlled way, useful for transitions, diffusion effects, or specific textures.
Included Plug-ins
The pack includes the following plug-ins: 6034 Ultimate Multi-band Native, 6050 Ultimate Channel Strip Native, AE600 Native, Channel G Native, DE555 Native, FutzBox Native, MC2000 Native, ML4000 Native, ML8000 Native, NF575 Native, NR800 Native, SA-2 Dialog Processor Native.
