Features and Innovations

This pad combines a silicone playing surface with a modern composite base to offer excellent durability and consistent feel over time. Its intentionally soft attack allows working on listening and clean technique without excessive volume. The underside includes a 1 mm soft foam padding to stabilize the pad on flat surfaces like a desk or table while limiting vibrations. For a setup closer to stage or rehearsal conditions, an 8 mm threaded connection located under the pad allows direct mounting on an 8 mm threaded stand, such as a cymbal stand.

Sound

The goal here is not to replicate the tone of a wooden drum shell, but to provide useful audio feedback for practice. The silicone surface produces a soft attack sound, sufficiently present to distinguish each stroke, control nuances, and refine consistency, while remaining quieter than practicing on a snare drum or a very hard pad.
