Meinl STB2 - COWBELL STOMP BOX

Historical Context and Positioning in the Range

For over thirty years, Meinl has been developing modern percussion instruments aimed at both stage musicians and studio creators. This Stomp Box aligns with the brand's philosophy: offering compact, reliable, and musical solutions capable of complementing a traditional set with a practical and innovative approach.

Target Audience for This Drum/Instrument

This pedal is intended for percussionists, drummers, and singer-guitarists seeking a simple and effective addition to establish a rhythmic reference. It is particularly suitable for acoustic, pop, folk, world music contexts, and "one-man band" performances, where hand/foot coordination becomes a real asset.

Features and Innovations

The stomp box format allows integration of a percussive foot sound without altering the set's ergonomics. The goal is quick setup and natural play: you add accents, offbeats, or a steady beat while maintaining your primary instrument performance.

Sound

The "bell" signature delivers a clear and distinct attack, useful for emphasizing the pulse and cutting the groove in an acoustic mix. Played softly, the response remains precise for subtle patterns; with strong accents, the sound stands out to mark transitions and choruses.
