Designed for instrumentalists who want to get closer to the elegant and singing phrasing of Stéphane Grappelli, this method gathers a selection of about 250 "classic" licks to memorize, understand, and reuse. The goal is simple: to develop an immediately playable vocabulary capable of transforming your improvisations into genuine swing choruses, more fluid and stylistically credible.

The content starts with essential basics for solid progression: how to use the book, how to get started, then key technical and stylistic points such as bowing, syncopation, ghost notes, and especially accessible chord theory. This approach helps you connect each phrase to the harmony, so you don't learn licks "by heart" without knowing when and why to place them.

The method is then organized around keys and concrete musical contexts: licks in G, C, D, F, B flat, as well as A minor and D minor.
