What MAmp Is For
MAmp is designed to sculpt vintage and modern amp tones within your digital audio workstation. It excels for virtual reamping, direct recording, mixing guitars and basses, as well as sound design on synths, drum machines, or vocals. Its tube saturation and modulation modules add grit, movement, and personality to any source.
Main Features
Analog Character, Modern Control
At the heart of MAmp lies the distortion algorithm derived from MVintageRotary, inspired by classic analog circuits. It delivers musical saturation, from subtle coloration to aggressive drive, while benefiting from the precision of digital processing and fine harmonic control.
Creative and Dynamic Modulation
The built-in modulators allow you to internally automate key parameters (rotary-style speed, distortion amount, filters, etc.). Trigger more drive when playing harder, create slow transitions or rhythmic pulses, and bring the sound to life without stacking external automations.
Mix-Oriented Visuals and Workflow
The advanced interface offers unique visualization with classic VU meters and time graphs to instantly understand the impact of your settings. Automatic Gain Compensation stabilizes the perceived level, while a safety limiter protects the signal chain. Multiparameters, MIDI Learn, and intelligent randomization speed up sound exploration.
Compatibility and Spatialization
MAmp processes in M/S, mono, stereo, surround up to 8 channels, and ambisonics up to 64 channels. Adjustable up-sampling from 1x to 1024x minimizes artifacts and optimizes quality according to the session. Global preset management and online sharing facilitate recall and sound exchange.

Questions frequently asked
Is MAmp suitable for virtual reamping of guitar and bass?
The processing is designed for virtual reamping, direct recording, and mixing of both guitar and bass. The saturation derived from MVintageRotary enables a range from subtle coloration to a more pronounced drive.
What kind of saturation does this amp plugin offer?
The distortion algorithm comes from MVintageRotary and is inspired by classic analog circuits. Fine harmonic control allows adjusting the character of the saturation.
Can the drive respond to playing dynamics?
Internal modulators can affect the amount of distortion, filters, and rotary-type speed. This makes it possible to trigger more drive depending on playing level. Slow transitions or rhythmic pulses can also be created without external automation.
Is MAmp compatible with Windows and macOS?
On Windows, the software runs on Windows 8, 10, and 11 64-bit on Intel or AMD processors compatible with SSE2. On macOS, compatibility covers macOS 10.14 through macOS 12 in 64-bit, with native support for Apple Silicon M1 processors. Activation requires neither hardware key nor internet connection.
What audio formats and up-sampling levels are supported?
The processing supports mono, stereo, M/S, surround up to 8 channels, and ambisonics up to 64 channels, with adjustable up-sampling from 1x to 1024x.
