What MCabinet Is For
MCabinet replaces lengthy IR libraries with a modern approach to speaker simulation. Whether you're mixing DI guitars/basses, creating textures for film music, or shaping percussion, it offers an almost infinite palette of cabinets and tonal colors. Use it as an insert after a virtual amp/drive, as a colorizer on stems, or as a sound design building block on any signal.
Main Features
Statistical Cabinet Engine
Start from a profile derived from thousands of IRs and refine the sound rather than browsing folders. The plugin's core models the cabinet's frequency response, letting you target a sonic "result" instead of a speaker name.
Response Shaping
The 4 resonators add tonal character or controlled resonance peaks, while the 2 wideners naturally open the stereo image, adding a touch of ambience if needed. The "flatten" and "tilt" controls allow you to spectrally flatten or tilt your cabinet with a single gesture.
Finishing and Export
A final dynamic equalizer fine-tunes the balance, AGC level management ensures reliable monitoring, and a brickwall limiter protects your ears. When the sound is ready, export the IR immediately for use in your pedalboard or hardware IR loader.
Control and Performance
Four versatile modulators (LFO, envelope follower, triggered ADSR, random, pitch detection) animate any parameter. Multiparameters group key controls for automation or creative morphing. A stylable, resizable, GPU-accelerated interface, global preset management, and detailed visualizations complete a professional workflow.
