MDynamics is a versatile dynamics processor for mixing and mastering. It excels on vocals, drums, guitars, basses, and buses, to control dynamic range, clean up bleed using the gate, enhance presence through parallel compression, or shape groove via expansion. In post-production, its powerful side-chain facilitates ducking dialogue under music and effects.

Unified Dynamic Processing

A single plug-in covers compression, expansion, and gating, or any combination of the three. Draw your own processing curve for subtle or creative effects, and secure your peaks with the built-in safety limiter.

Smart Level Follower and Detection

The comprehensive envelope follower adapts to any signal with automatic release modes, look-ahead, adjustable RMS, and spectral smoothing. The generalized dynamics detector maintains a musical response, while the AGC automatically compensates perceived gain.

Side-Chain and Signal Shaping

Use either the internal source or an external source in the side-chain, then modulate it via a simple band-pass or a 6-band equalizer for precise triggering. Adjustable channel linking, M/S processing, and up to 8 surround channels (and ambisonics up to 64 channels) cover all modern scenarios.

Ergonomics and Performance
