What MUltraMaximizer Is For
MUltraMaximizer is a multiband limiter/maximizer designed for modern mastering, mix finalization, and preparation for streaming platforms. It stabilizes the spectrum, controls peaks with a Safety Limiter, and allows achieving a high perceived level without sacrificing clarity. Its saturation section adds character when you need a warmer, more "analog" sound.
Main Features
Musical Maximization and Full Control
Increase the input gain and let the algorithm balance your spectrum. The Safety Limiter manages transients while the AGC (Automatic Gain Compensation) facilitates level-matched evaluation. The A-H comparison lets you quickly audition multiple settings.
Careful Coloration and Saturation
The built-in saturation engine enriches harmonics for a denser sound, ideal for styles demanding power and presence. Used subtly, it enhances the sense of volume without harshness.
Visualization and Ergonomics
The advanced interface relies on a visualization engine combining classic meters and time graphs. Global preset management, online exchange, smart randomization, and MIDI Learn speed up the workflow.
Compatibility and Immersive Audio
Work in stereo, M/S, mono, up to 8 surround channels, and up to 64 ambisonics channels. 64-bit processing and 1x to 1024x oversampling ensure precision and cleanliness, with support for unlimited sample rates.

Questions frequently asked
Is Melda MUltraMaximizer compatible with Mac Apple Silicon?
macOS compatibility covers versions 10.14 Mojave to 12 Monterey in 64-bit. Native support for Apple Silicon ARM M1 is included, with Intel, AMD, or M1 processors compatible with SSE2.
Which plug-in formats are supported?
VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX formats are supported on Windows 8, 10, and 11 in 64-bit, as well as on compatible macOS.
Is mastering possible in surround or ambisonics?
Processing supports up to 8 channels in surround and up to 64 channels in ambisonics. Stereo, mono, and M/S modes are also available.
How do the AGC and Safety Limiter operate?
The AGC maintains automatic gain compensation to compare settings at a constant level. The Safety Limiter controls transients during maximization. Eight A-H comparison slots allow auditioning multiple configurations.
Does the built-in saturation help to thicken a mix?
The saturation section enriches harmonics to achieve a denser sound. Adjustable oversampling from 1x to 1024x accompanies this processing in 64-bit.
