What MVintageRotary Is For
Designed by MeldaProduction, MVintageRotary recreates the movement, depth, and Doppler effect of a historic rotary speaker. Ideal on tonewheel organs, it also enhances electric pianos, synths, guitars, or overhead tracks. In mixing, it adds life, width, and motion to pads, choirs, or effects returns, from classic "soul" sounds to modern cinematic textures.
Main Features
Rotary Speaker Cabinet Emulation with Character
Three models capture the mechanical response of the rotor and drum, with fine control over stereo width, dynamics, and internal damping. Slow/fast transitions are natural, and the rotation direction can be reversed for creative effects.
High-End Amplifier and Saturation
The amplification section reproduces the typical analog harmonic imprint of amplified organs, with precise tube saturation. Push further with a digital drive more aggressive than the original, ranging from subtle vintage grit to modern distortion.
Advanced Modulation and Automation
Internal modulators allow automation of slow/fast switching, distortion amount based on velocity or level, and much more. Speed can be locked to the host tempo, ensuring perfectly musical pulses.
Fast Workflow and MIDI Control
Control the slow/fast switch via sustain pedal or modulation wheel. The advanced interface, A/B comparisons, global preset management, and online preset exchange speed up creation, from studio to stage.
