This guitar case combines an external SharkSkin coating developed by Mono, designed to resist moisture and abrasion, with 20 mm EVA foam that effectively absorbs shocks. For impacts from below, the base includes specific reinforcement: a 10 mm EVA sole and a slot for the strap lock to limit damage during vertical falls.
Another key feature is the guitar head. The M80 Sleeve V2 incorporates a lightweight version of the HeadLock, a molded EVA rubber suspension/stabilization system that holds the neck in a profiled groove when the guitar is inserted via the Top-loading opening. The result: less stress on the head/neck joint, often the most fragile part during transport.
