MF-105S MuRF is a Multiple Resonant Filter Array effect plug-in designed to add depth, groove, and an immediately recognizable sonic signature to an incoming signal. Inspired by the original MF-105 MuRF introduced in 2004, the MF-105S revives the founding idea behind the pedal's success: eight resonant filters whose levels are modulated by a preprogrammed animation section. A direct heir to modular synthesis concepts, this design is made to "play" with any audio input, transforming a timbre into a moving, expressive, and musical material. MF-105S aims to preserve the character and organic interaction of parameters so that every adjustment feels like a performance rather than a simple correction.

Bank of Resonant Filters + Patterns: Movement Becomes an Instrument

This is a major asset for modern production: you adapt the filter's breathing to your groove (verses, choruses, breaks), build unique rhythmic signatures, and shift from subtle modulation to sharply cut animation without changing your effects chain.

Stereo and Dedicated Modes: Width, Placement, and Energy

MF-105S adds stereo management designed for stage and studio. The MODE parameter can send all eight filters simultaneously to left and right channels or distribute the filters to create a more spectacular stereo widening. ENVELOPE MODE and Alternative Envelopes: From Natural to Sharp

For modulation-oriented workflows, MF-105S offers dedicated CV inputs for key parameters, including animation pattern rate, internal LFO rate, envelope shape, LFO amount, and mix. You can also attenuate or soften these modulations, facilitating mix integration: light automation becomes refined micro-animation, while stronger modulation turns into a bold signature effect.
