A precise luthier tool to fix a high fret
Designed by the MusicNomad team in Sonoma, California, the MN813 U-File is intended for targeted leveling of a single fret without needing the full fret leveling arsenal. Place the tool on 3 frets with the fret to be corrected in the center, then file up or down, or side to side depending on access and the area to adjust. Its low-profile handle allows you to get close to the fingerboard and maintain excellent control, even in difficult angles.
Compatible with electric guitars, acoustic guitars, banjos, mandolins, and ukuleles. It also works on most bass frets, except for the first 5 frets closest to the nut. For precise work, notches on the top and arrows on the side clearly indicate the location of the diamond-coated area.
