A Signature Born from a Top-Level Collaboration

Designed with the MXR team to capture the attack, warmth, and power dear to Eric Gales, the Raw Dawg follows in the footsteps of classic overdrives while modernizing the formula. The focus was on a more natural midrange and a higher gain reserve, all housed in a compact chassis ready for the road.

For Which Guitarists and Styles?

Tailored for blues, rock, fusion, gospel, or funk guitarists seeking an expressive overdrive, the Raw Dawg excels both as an always-on pedal and as an amp booster. It highlights single coils as well as humbuckers and performs comfortably on stage or in the home studio, alone or stacked with other drives.
