Keyboard Design

The Pianova HD-300 features an 88-key keyboard with progressive weighted touch. This format covers the range of a standard piano and makes it suitable for both technical exercises and pieces that make extensive use of the low and high registers. The progressive touch provides a piano-like playing experience, with resistance designed to support finger development.

For a beginner, this keyboard provides a solid foundation for developing a sense of position. For a more experienced musician, it offers the space needed for two-handed accompaniment and extended chords. The included triple pedal unit completes this design with sustain, sostenuto and soft pedals, which are essential for exploring different articulations and musical intentions.

Sound Quality

Designed to deliver an authentic piano sound, the Pianova HD-300 is aimed at musicians who want to focus on the pleasure of playing every day. Its design combines a full keyboard with easy-to-use sound processing options, allowing you to adapt the sound to your piece and personal sensitivity.

The two 3.5 mm mini-jack headphone inputs allow two people to listen to the performance through headphones simultaneously. This is an advantage during a lesson with a teacher or when sharing a performance without filling the entire room with sound. The piano also features a 6.35 mm stereo jack input.

Educational Functions

The single-track recorder, capable of storing more than 1,000,000 notes, is a useful tool for structured practice. By listening back to your performance, you can focus on rhythmic consistency, the balance between both hands or the continuity of musical phrases. This step back helps you target the passages that need further work rather than systematically repeating the entire piece.

The three-pedal unit also allows you to gradually incorporate pedaling into your practice. You can learn to sustain notes with the sustain pedal, explore the selective hold provided by the sostenuto pedal and add nuance to your performance with the soft pedal. The two headphone inputs also make shared listening easier during lessons.

Advanced Functions

The HD-300 features a MIDI input and output on 5-pin DIN connectors. This connectivity allows it to be integrated into a compatible MIDI setup, for exchanging performance data with other equipment. A USB cable intended for MIDI connection is also included for connected applications.

The package also includes two cables for connecting a phone, a microphone with its cable, as well as the power cable and power supply. This set of accessories reduces the number of items that need to be purchased separately to get started. Its Red Blazing finishing gives the piano a distinctive visual presence, setting it apart from more classic finishes.
