Traktor Pro 4 is DJ software designed for club mixing, streaming, events, or home studio use, with a performance-oriented approach. It allows you to prepare a library, analyze your tracks, precisely sync tempo, and build clean or creative transitions using loops, beat jump, and effects. Its flexibility also makes it suitable for open format DJs, techno/house, hip-hop, or any hybrid set combining live remixing, stems, and external sources.

Create a set that reflects your style with 4 fully equipped decks. Each deck can be configured as a Track Deck (classic playback), Remix Deck (triggering loops and one-shots), STEM Deck (tracks split into stems), or Live Input (external source). The result: you tailor your setup to your style, from traditional mixing to remix-oriented performances.

Audio analysis, solid sync, and flexible beatgrids

The software includes advanced audio analysis (tempo, pitch, etc.) and flexible beatgrids to maintain precise synchronization, even on tracks with changing tempos. The loop and beat jump functions are designed to remain reliable in real situations, with high-quality timestretch to preserve sound quality when changing tempo.

Mixing, EQ, and effects to shape the sound

The mixer features a 3-band EQ with Kill function per band, as well as filters and effects per channel. The assignable effects section offers more than 40 effects to enrich your transitions, create build-ups, texture a break, or transform a loop into a full musical element. For output, the iZotope Ozone Maximizer is available on the stereo output to add extra level and coherence.

On-the-fly stems and live performance focus

On-the-fly stem separation splits your tracks into 4 stems controllable independently, useful for isolating vocals, cutting drums, boosting bass, or making "mashup" transitions without lengthy preparation. You can also enhance the groove by adding additional drums via the pattern player, ideal for energizing a part of the set or reinforcing a drop.

Library, pre-listening, and customizable interface

The clear browser with pre-listening function speeds up selection in the booth. Collection management is designed for large catalogs: filters, tags, playlist creation, and sorting options to quickly prepare a coherent set. The interface offers flexible views, quickly switchable and configurable to suit your screen, controller, and mixing method.

Hardware integration, sync, and traditional DJing

Benefit from extensive controller integration and configuration, and compatibility with Ableton Link as well as MIDI clock to sync external gear or live performance. The software also supports timecode vinyl or CDs (with appropriate hardware), for a DVS approach close to classic feel while retaining digital power.
