A classic ensemble percussion instrument, here offered in a wooden version

The Wood A-Go-Go (often called "go-go bells") have become a staple in ensemble percussion thanks to their ability to clearly carry a groove with a simple gesture. The NINO version emphasizes accessibility and musicality: an immediately expressive instrument designed to stimulate listening and creativity, while remaining robust for regular use in workshops, music classes, or at home.

For whom and for what uses?

These GO-GO NINO bells are particularly suited for musical awakening and group practices: children (from 3 years old), schools, conservatories for beginners, leisure centers, and any context where a fun and effective instrument is sought. They are also suitable for percussionists and multi-instrumentalists who want to add a woody color and clear rhythm to an acoustic setup, an event, an enriched body percussion session, or a small percussion set.

The principle is simple: you can hold an ostinato (repetitive pattern) by striking in time, or create responses and accents by alternating playing zones. Thanks to the 3 rows, the playing becomes more dynamic, with immediate variations at your fingertips.

Two playing modes for more rhythmic ideas

Striking play: precise attack and clearly readable groove

Played with the provided wooden mallet, these Wood A-Go-Go deliver a clear attack and generous volume. This is an asset for group playing: the rhythm remains clear even when several instruments play simultaneously. This type of response is ideal for marking off-beats, establishing a stable rhythmic cell, or highlighting breaks.

Scraping play: "guiro" effect and percussive textures

In addition to striking, the instrument can be scraped like a guiro. This second playing mode opens a very wide creative field: texture crescendos, accompaniment effects, transitions, or simple pattern enrichments. Alternating striking and scraping allows building more lively rhythmic phrases without adding other instruments.

Handling and comfort

The ergonomic handle facilitates control and limits fatigue during prolonged use. This is an essential point in pedagogy: the student focuses on rhythm, listening, and coordination rather than on holding the instrument. This design also makes the instrument pleasant for adults, especially in animation or group practice.

Siam Oak wood: a coherent choice for everyday percussion

Made from Siam Oak (Hevea brasiliensis Muell.-Arg.), these go-go bells offer a warm "wood" feel in the hand and a distinctive sound identity. The material naturally integrates into acoustic environments and small percussion ensembles, while remaining suitable for regular handling.
