Nino NINO579m

A Unique Place in the NINO Energy Chimes Family

The NINO Energy Chimes are designed to produce a clear, readable, and lasting sound with a very identifiable sonic personality. The series comes in three different pitches, and NINO also offers a three-bar model to enrich possibilities with a single gesture. This medium model fits this logic: providing an immediate response, obvious projection, and long resonance, whether played as punctuation, a signal, or musical color.

For Whom and For What: An Expressive Chime for Awakening, Education, and Group Play

This chime is particularly suited for children (from 3 years old) and all contexts where a sound with a short attack but long sustain is desired: listening games, sound cues, classroom transitions, or small percussion ensembles. Thanks to its very defined "ping" timbre, it also works very well in a beginner instrument set to mark a start, signal an end, or highlight a musical moment without overpowering other instruments.

In workshops, it becomes an excellent tool for working on gestures (controlled striking, mallet grip, precision of the impact point) and dynamics: a light strike often triggers a broad resonance, encouraging listening and volume control. For facilitators or teachers, it is a simple instrument to integrate, immediately adding a bright and structuring color.
