Essential Information About Paragon ST Software
- Re-synthesized Convolution Reverb: the fidelity of convolution with the flexibility of an algorithm (room size, decay, brightness) without time-stretching artifacts.
- Immediate Musical Control: integrated modulation, tempo-synced pre-delay, and fine frequency response management.
- Controlled Stereo Image: adjustable stereo width and "mic distance" setting to place the source in the space.
- Authentic IR Library: a selection of IRs, infinitely transformable to create realistic or creative spaces.

What Paragon ST Is For
Paragon ST is a stereo convolution reverb plug-in designed for music production. It brings a natural ambiance to dry-recorded vocals or drums, extends the depth of guitars and synths, and enables expansive reverbs that go beyond realism for dreamy or cinematic textures. Ideal for mixing as well as sound design, it combines spatial precision and musicality.
Main Features
IR Re-synthesis Without Compromise
Instead of static IRs, Paragon ST analyzes, decomposes, then re-synthesizes impulse responses to modify room size and decay time far beyond the original, without stretching noise. You retain the character of real spaces while sculpting the duration and density of the reverb.
Spectral and Dynamic Shaping
The IR tab allows equalizing the reverb model itself and adjusting frequency-dependent decays for fine control over clarity, low-mids, and air. Modulation and tempo-synced pre-delay add movement and groove without blurring.
Placement and Stereo Width
The mic distance control manages early reflections to bring the source closer or farther away, while the stereo width (leveraging Stereoizer expertise) opens or tightens the image precisely, including from a mono source thanks to crosstalk.
Modern Workflow
Compact display for efficiency, integrated spectral analysis to visualize the response, and a "just right" IR library that you can transform at will to cover everything from intimate studio to vast cathedral spaces.

Questions frequently asked
Can an impulse response be lengthened without stretching noise?
IR re-synthesis analyzes, decomposes, and then recreates impulse responses. Room size and decay time can thus exceed those of the original IR without stretching noise.
How to create stereo reverb from a mono track?
Thanks to crosstalk, stereo reverb can be generated from a mono source. The stereo width setting then allows opening or narrowing of the image.
Does the pre-delay of Paragon ST sync to tempo?
Tempo-synced pre-delay allows the reverb onset to fit the groove of the track.
What computer configuration is recommended for this plug-in?
Supported systems are macOS OS X 10.9 and Windows 7. The specified memory is 1 GB. The license is available as a download.
Can the color and decay of the reverb be adjusted?
The IR tab allows equalizing the reverb model and setting frequency-dependent decays. Modulation and mic distance control affect movement and early reflections respectively.
