Keyboard Design

The NUX NPK-200 features an 88-key NUX WKJ-03 keyboard with weighted keys and graded hammer action. This means the resistance naturally increases from bass to treble, just like on an acoustic piano. This progressive behavior makes working on dynamics, touch, and phrasing much more natural, whether studying classical repertoire or modern accompaniments.

The triple sensor enhances velocity detection accuracy and supports a more faithful response in fast passages, repeated notes, and delicate attacks. The escapement system adds that subtle mechanical sensation sought by many pianists, while the ivory and ebony imitation keytops provide a more secure feel under the fingers and better comfort during long playing sessions.

Sound Quality

The sound palette includes 30 built-in tones covering the essential needs of a piano-oriented keyboard: acoustic pianos, electric pianos, pads, strings, and other useful timbres for arrangement or stage use. This selection allows easy transition from traditional piano work to more contemporary textures without sacrificing ease of use.

The integrated stereo sound system is designed for balanced daily listening, featuring two speakers and three EQ modes to adapt the sound to the room or playing style. The datasheet mentions 2 x 11 W amplification, as well as a 2 x 10 W stereo audio system in detailed specifications. In any case, the instrument aims for clear reproduction, practical for home playing, rehearsals, and small performances. No polyphony number is highlighted, but the overall response is geared toward expressiveness and versatility.
