The concept becomes even more interesting when the Visitor stages intentionally unusual interactions, such as the time offset of the secondary modulation, or the link between the secondary speed and the primary depth. The heart of the concept is the Secondary knob. Rather than multiplying controls, OBNE chose a command that acts simultaneously on several parameters of the secondary modulation: its depth, speed, and a delay offset unique to this stage. This shifts it from a simple "second discreet effect" to a parallel presence that stands out, shifts, and creates musical interferences with the primary modulation.

To keep everything manageable on a pedalboard, the Visitor adds a main mix control (to blend the effect) and a regeneration control (main feedback) that intensifies the sense of movement and the richness of internal repeats. Finally, the expression control assigned to the Secondary knob allows evolving the ambiance in real time: perfect for moving from a subtle verse to a wide chorus, or building a progressive swell without letting go of the neck.

Bypass switching is done via a relay bypass, appreciated for a crisp switching feel and reliable daily integration.
