From the Terror series to the "pocket monster" for pedalboards

For years, Orange's Terror philosophy has proven that a compact format can deliver massive sound. The Terror Stamp carries the DNA of the Micro Terror and Micro Dark but translates it into a pedal format, ready to integrate at the heart of a pedalboard. The idea is simple: to regain the Orange tone and amp-like playing feel while keeping a modern and practical effects chain.

For which guitarists and usage contexts?

The Orange Terror Stamp is aimed at guitarists who want an all-in-one solution to play through a speaker cabinet, go to rehearsals with a backpack, or have a reliable "plan B" for gigs. It's also very suitable for home studios: you can build your sound with your favorite pedals (drive, delay, reverb, modulation) and then feed the Stamp as if it were a real amp head.

In terms of styles, it excels whenever character is sought: energetic blues rock, rock and hard rock, punk, stoner, light to moderate metal, but also more open sounds if you keep it clean and let your effects create the atmosphere.

Controls, routing, and key features

The interface remains true to Orange's simplicity: Gain to adjust saturation, Shape to sculpt the tonal balance (more mids on one side, a more "scooped" and modern sound on the other), and Volume 1 / Volume 2 to manage two output levels. The footswitchable master volume lets you cut through the mix for leads or switch from an "apartment" setting to a "rehearsal" setting with one click.

The buffered effects loop (Send/Return) is ideal for placing delays, reverbs, and modulations after distortion, with an impedance matched to preserve attack and clarity, even with long cables or true bypass pedals. Powerful tip: by plugging directly into the FX Return, the Terror Stamp can serve as a 20-watt power amp for an external preamp, a preamp pedal, or a modeler.

Finally, the CabSim headphone output adds a true "plug and play" dimension: convenient for silent practice, quick recording, or sending a 4x12 cab-simulated signal to a PA system, all while maintaining an immediate playing feel thanks to a fully analog design.

The sound

The Terror Stamp delivers a typically Orange grain: lively mids, sharp attack, and harmonically rich saturation when pushing the Gain. In clean mode, it remains dynamic and responsive to touch, perfect for nuanced playing or as a base for an effects-oriented pedalboard. The Shape control acts like a quick "voicing": it lets you switch from a thicker, fuller sound to a more modern signature, ideal for sharper rhythm parts.

It's also designed for musicians on the move: guitarists like Joe Perry, Orianthi, and Laura Cox have integrated it into their rigs, proving that this pedal format can be a credible solution from studio to stage.
