Sound characteristics

The tonal character of this guitar-banjo is based on a combination of typical banjo components. The aluminum rim promotes a sharp attack, clear definition, and a very present midrange. The black Remo head, tensioned by 30 hooks, provides precision and a quick response, ideal for snapping rhythms and lively arpeggios. The mahogany resonator enhances projection and adds more "body" to the sound, while the mahogany neck offers a comfortable playing feel and a warm tone that balances the instrument's natural brightness.
