Otto Link TONE EDGE SOPRANO 6

A Mouthpiece That Has Become a Jazz Standard In the world of wind instruments, some mouthpieces stand out for their ability to immediately provide a comfortable feel, a clean attack and projection suited to jazz phrasing. This model follows a “plug and play” approach: an accessible mouthpiece appreciated for its ease of play, with enough flexibility thanks to the different tip openings available. Which musicians and styles is it suited to? This mouthpiece is particularly well suited to intermediate and advanced musicians looking for an easy response, as well as players seeking a jazz-oriented mouthpiece (swing, bebop, big band), but also one suitable for pop and funk depending on the tip opening selected. Tone and design The choice of tip opening directly influences the playing feel: a smaller opening often prioritizes control and stability, while a larger opening provides a freer feel and increased projection (with reeds that are generally better suited).
