DP3: A Versatile Console Piano, From Living Room to Home Studio

The DP3 has been designed as a digital console piano ready to play, intended both for daily practice and musical entertainment at home. Its "console" format provides an elegant and stable presence, while its arranger functions (rhythms, automatic chords, variations) expand the playing possibilities: solo piano practice, left-hand accompaniment, or more "band" style sessions with styles. Thanks to its connectivity and wireless audio/MIDI, it also integrates easily into a modern environment (smartphone, tablet, computer).

Keyboard Design

The DP3 features an 88-note progressive weighted keyboard, designed to reproduce heavier resistance in the bass and lighter in the treble, as on an acoustic piano. The response can be adjusted via 3 sensitivity levels, suitable both for beginners seeking easy control and pianists wanting more dynamic range. An option also allows disabling the sensitivity for organ-style playing. In terms of expressiveness, the presence of a set of 3 integrated pedals (soft, sostenuto, sustain) immediately enhances the playing experience: the sustain pedal responds to half-pedal for finer nuances in resonance and more natural legatos.

Sound Quality

The Dream France sound engine with sampling aims for a musical and balanced output, suitable for classical repertoire as well as contemporary music. With 160 voices, the DP3 covers daily needs extensively (pianos, stage sounds, pads, organs, etc.), while offering an ideal framework to vary colors in Dual or Split mode. The 81-note polyphony ensures solid chord sustain, layering, and passages with pedal. For sound projection, the instrument relies on a two-way stereo amplification 2 x 30W: powerful enough to fill a room and enjoy dynamic playing, with pleasant stereo rendering both in practice and listening.
