P-145BT
The entry-level model in the P Series, designed for simplicity and mobility
The Yamaha P-145BT retains the DNA of the "P" Series: a streamlined design, immediate ease of use and a convincing touch to help you progress with confidence. Compact and lightweight, it fits easily into a living room, project studio or classroom, while providing the essential functions for playing, practising and accompanying.
Keyboard design
The P-145BT features the
GHC keyboard with 88 weighted and graded keys, with a
velocity-sensitive response. The bass keys are intentionally heavier than the treble keys to reproduce the action of a grand piano and promote natural control of dynamics, from pianissimo to fortissimo. This balanced touch is equally well suited to daily practice and more demanding performances.
Sound quality
At the heart of the instrument is
Yamaha CFIIIS sampling for convincing upright and stage pianos, complemented by
10 useful sounds (piano, electric pianos, harpsichord, strings...). The
64-note polyphony covers everyday playing needs, while the
2 x 7 W amplification system and
two 12 x 8 cm oval speakers deliver clear, balanced sound at home or in a small public space.
Built-in effects
- Reverb (4 types) to simulate different room acoustics.
- Sound Boost for greater presence in a mix or noisy environment.
- Damper Resonance for a more natural sustain pedal response.
Educational functions
For practice, the P-145BT offers
Dual and Duo modes (layering sounds and splitting the keyboard for teacher/student use), as well as
50 built-in classical pieces. Via the
Smart Pianist app, you can access
303 educational songs and simplified control of the settings, ideal for structuring your practice and tracking your progress.
Advanced functions
- Bluetooth audio for streaming playlists and accompaniments directly through the piano.
- USB to Host (Audio/MIDI) for recording and direct connection to a computer or DAW.
- Built-in flash memory for storing your preferences.
- Stereo headphone output for silent playing.
- LP-5A pedal unit compatibility for three pedals, just like on an acoustic piano.
