ORBIT 11 W: ORBIT's high-end model designed for precision in real environments

Within the ORBIT range, the ORBIT 11 W positions itself as an active studio monitor intended for critical listening, where phase coherence, directivity, and bass clarity make the difference. Its white finish easily integrates into modern studios, post-production control rooms, and creative spaces where aesthetics matter as much as performance.
Its signature is based on a "control monitoring" approach: consistent dispersion, reduced room interaction, and reproduction that remains clear at both low and high levels, ensuring reliable decisions in EQ, dynamics, and panning.

A monitor tailored for mixing, mastering, post-production, and sound design

The ORBIT 11 W is aimed at sound engineers, producers, broadcast studios, content creators, and sound designers who want reliable monitoring for mixing, mastering, and post-production. Its 120 deg x 120 deg coverage helps maintain a consistent balance when moving within the listening area, useful in multi-person sessions or when switching between keyboard, control surface, and listening position.
The cardioid design and bass management also target studios with constrained placement: close to a wall, on a desk, or in rooms with imperfect acoustic treatment. The goal is simple: less "surprise" in the low end, more clarity in the midrange, and mixes that translate better on other systems.

3-way architecture, controlled directivity, and DSP: a stable listening experience

True Point Source coaxial: phase coherence and solid stereo image

The True Point Source coaxial driver (6.5-inch midrange + 1-inch tweeter) aligns acoustic centers to improve integration between frequency bands and stabilize the image. The result: vocals feel more "anchored," reverbs are easier to control, and micro-pan movements are more precise, even off-axis.

Cardioid and sealed enclosure: clearer bass, less room interaction

The bass is handled by two 8-inch woofers with impulse compensation, housed in a sealed die-cast aluminum enclosure. This approach, combined with cardioid directivity, aims to limit energy projected to the rear and reduce typical room interactions (build-ups, smearing, standing waves). For you, this translates into tighter, more usable lows for tuning kick, bass, sub, and LFE effects.

High-resolution DSP: linear phase FIR filters and minimal latency

The internal processing operates at 96 kHz / 24 bits with high-resolution conversion and DSP. The linear phase FIR filters optimize temporal alignment between drivers, enhancing transient precision (snare attack, bass pluck, consonants) and better layer separation in dense mixes.

Quick adjustments and studio integration: analog XLR and AES3

The control panel is designed for speed: input attenuator, 3-band equalizer, Desk and Rear Wall presets to adapt response for placement on surfaces or near walls, and an 80 Hz high-pass filter for use with subwoofers or to relieve the low end. For studio connectivity, the ORBIT 11 W offers a balanced XLR line input and an AES3 input, with an AES3 Thru output for daisy-chaining.

Headroom, safety, and sustainable listening

The Class D amplification (2 x 250 W and 1 x 500 W) provides the necessary reserve to maintain dynamics while staying clean at high volume. Built-in protections (limiter, multiband limiter, overheating) safeguard the system, and convection cooling avoids fan noise, a key point in recording and audio editing environments.
