Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
Since its first production in 1982, the Pearl Export has established itself as one of the classic "first real set" drum kits: the one on which generations of drummers have built their foundations, refined their placement, and discovered playing in a band. This edition retains the spirit of the standard configuration praised for its simplicity and efficiency, while updating it with comfort and performance features expected from a modern kit. Within the Pearl range, the Export is positioned as a reliable choice: accessible, robust, designed to support progress, with coherent technical choices that deliver a serious sound without complicating handling.Who This Drum Set Is For
This Pearl Export Standard is primarily aimed at beginner to intermediate drummers who want a complete, expandable, and versatile kit to cover real-life situations: lessons, home studio, rehearsals, first gigs, auditions. The 22-inch, 5-piece configuration is particularly suited for rock, pop, funk, variety, and blues styles, thanks to a generous bass drum and toms offering good clarity. It will also suit more experienced drummers looking for a reliable rehearsal kit, easy to set up, with a very attractive equipment-to-performance ratio.Technical specifications
