A Series Designed to Bring "Pro" Precision Closer to Flutists' Daily Practice

The Quantz Forza series incorporates mechanical advancements originally developed for professional models to offer a modern, stable, and pleasant-to-adjust transverse flute. Its keywork combines an optimized architecture (One-Piece-Core-Bar linkage) and Pearl's patented Pinless system, which is pin-free and designed to reduce wear and oxidation points. The result: a more reliable mechanism over the years and a playing feel that remains consistent, even during intensive practice.

For Which Flutist and Styles?

This C flute is particularly aimed at advanced beginners and intermediate musicians who want to step up in playing comfort, precision, and expressiveness while maintaining accessible handling. It is very suitable for the classical repertoire (tone work, studies, orchestra, chamber music), as well as for variety, film music, and ensembles where a clear attack and homogeneous projection are sought.

Sound, Response, and Design: A Flute That Facilitates Sound Production

The strength of this Quantz Forza lies in its hand-finished Forza headjoint, usually reserved for higher-end ranges. The design of the lip plate and core promotes better control of the air column: sound production is more stable, attacks are easier to place, and dynamics gain in subtlety. The response is more direct, useful both for metronome practice and for more lyrical phrasing.
In terms of ergonomics, the open-hole keys provide a natural airflow feedback and an "open" sensation under the fingers, appreciated by many progressing flutists. The inline key system maintains a classic and readable layout, while the silver-plated nickel silver mechanism contributes to a solid feel. To clarify terminology: the C footjoint corresponds to the flute foot ending on C, and the double-skin pads ensure consistent sealing, essential for intonation and register homogeneity.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

The flute is delivered with a hard case, case cover, cleaning rod, and maintenance kit, so the essentials for transport and post-playing cleaning are already provided. To complement this, a microfiber cloth dedicated to the body (to limit marks and oxidation) is a relevant choice, provided the size is suitable for transverse flutes.
