Questions frequently asked
Is this Pearl S022 snare wire compatible with a 14-inch snare drum?
Its 14-inch length is designed for a snare drum of that diameter. Attachment is done using straps, aligned with the trigger.

The 20 steel strands provide a defined attack and controlled buzz. Ghost notes remain clear, while accents maintain their presence.
20 strands or more snare wire: what behavior can be expected?
This 20-coil configuration seeks a balance between sensitivity to light strokes and vibration control. The applied tension then allows adjustment of the buzz level.
