Pedaltrain XD-24 with Softcase

The XD Series: a new Pedaltrain format designed for ambitious pedalboards

With the XD Series, Pedaltrain introduces a new format that retains the brand’s DNA while meeting the current needs of musicians: more usable depth, practical rows, and a layout inspired by Novo spacing. The XD-24 follows this approach as a versatile format: wide enough for a complete rig and deep enough to accommodate complex effects chains, tall pedals, and more “technical” setups (switching, routing, controllers).

Who it’s for and what it’s for: guitar, bass, stage, and studio

The Pedaltrain XD-24 is designed for guitarists and bassists who want a clean, stable, and expandable pedalboard. It is particularly well suited to musicians who stack multiple layers of effects (drive, modulation, delays, reverb), switch between several amplifiers or loops via a switching system, or use controllers and expression pedals. In rehearsal and on stage, it helps keep cabling secure, save setup time, and maintain consistent ergonomics from one show to the next.

A design focused on organization, depth, and rig expansion

The XD-24 is built on a 6-rail platform with Novo spacing, making it easier to arrange pedals and route cables. The key advantage of the XD Series is its increased depth: it allows more of the surface to be used, including across multiple rows, without compromising playing access.

More depth, more possibilities

Need to fit larger pedals, add another row, or make the most of the available space? The XD format is designed for dense setups, including a “three pedals deep” configuration when the layout and the dimensions of the effects allow it. This is a practical advantage for musicians who want to minimize compromises between comfort, visibility, and the number of effects.

Switching, expression, and accessories: a pedalboard ready to evolve

The XD-24 is designed to accommodate the addition of a switching system and the integration of expression pedals. It is also compatible with accessories such as VDL-MK, Boosters, TFMK-SM, as well as numerous add-ons available on the market. The result: you can start with a simple configuration and then expand your rig (power supply, routing, controllers) without having to change platforms.

Transport: Deluxe bag included

For transportation, the XD-24 comes with a Pedaltrain-style Deluxe bag featuring an exterior pocket for accessories, SBS Platinum zippers, a premium strap with shoulder pad, and an easy-to-clean interior. The outer shell is described as water-resistant, and the bag is designed with extra depth to accommodate taller pedals on raised Pedaltrain models.
