Summary of This Method
This method is designed to help you master guitar chords in a simple, reliable, and deductive way, thanks to the famous CAGED system. The idea is to start from reference points every guitarist encounters sooner or later: the five open chord shapes C, A, G, E, and D. These positions, often learned in the first few weeks, become here the foundation of a true "fretboard map."
Once these shapes are well identified, you learn to move them using the principle of barre chords to find and play all major and minor chords anywhere on the fretboard. The method then takes the same logic a step further: by maintaining the same reasoning, you apply the CAGED system to extended chords (such as 7, m7, M7 ) without adding unnecessary complexity. The result: you gain autonomy, understand what you are playing, and more easily choose the most practical position depending on the key or chord progression.
Throughout the book, accompaniments are provided to reinforce reflexes: tablatures, chord charts, and examples in various styles (blues, rock, jazz, funk, reggae, pop...). The DVD shows the method's examples in sound and images, while the MP3 CD offers numerous playbacks to work on timing, consistency, and chord changes in a musical context.

Questions frequently asked
Does the method explain the CAGED system on guitar?
The progression is based on the five open chord shapes C, A, G, E, and D to build reference points on the fretboard.
Can barre chords be learned with this method?
The CAGED shapes are moved using the barre chord principle. This approach allows major and minor chords to be found in different positions on the neck.
Which extended chords are covered?
The CAGED concept is applied to 7, m7, and M7 chords. The positions are thus linked to the same basic C, A, G, E, and D shapes. This facilitates choosing fingerings depending on the key or chord progression.
Does the book include playbacks for practice?
An MP3 CD provides numerous playbacks to work on timing, consistency, and chord changes in a musical context.
Does the method Les Accords A La Guitare C'est Facile include a video?
A DVD presents the method's examples in sound and pictures, complemented by tablatures and chord charts in styles such as blues, rock, jazz, funk, reggae, and pop.
