What Polyverse Supermodal Is For
Supermodal is an advanced filter plugin designed for modern sound design. It adds organic resonant characteristics to your tracks, sculpts timbres rich in partials, creates immersive stereo movements, and breathes life into synths, drums, vocals, or guitars. Ideal for electronic music, film/sync production, experimentation, and creative effects editing in any compatible DAW.
Main Features
27-mode modal filter
The heart of Supermodal employs hundreds of ultra-precise band-pass filters to emulate instruments, objects, and waveforms. The 9 models, each available in 3 variants (27 modes), cover colors ranging from flangers/phasers and vocal filters to physical or mathematical resonators, with control over "decay," "damping," and partials.
Robust SVF filter and continuous morphing
The 24 dB per octave state variable filter (high-pass/band-pass/low-pass) runs in parallel with the modal filter. Its resonance can reach self-oscillation, and the "Drive" circuit adds warmth and thickness. The "Blend" slider allows smooth blending between the SVF and modal filter for organic transitions.
Advanced modulation and creative stereo
Four modulation slots provide access to the Meta knob, ADSR, envelope follower, sequencer, MIDI/CV triggers, and randomizer. Cross-modulation between slots multiplies interactions. Both filters operate in stereo: modulate left/right either linked or independently for impressive spatial effects. Almost any parameter can receive modulation.

Questions frequently asked
Is Polyverse Supermodal compatible with macOS?
macOS compatibility is announced from version 10.12 onwards. The required Windows version is not specified by the publisher.
How many filter modes are available?
The modal filter offers 27 modes, derived from 9 models each available in 3 variants. It relies on hundreds of band-pass filters to emulate instruments, objects, and waveforms.
Can stereo effects with independent movements be created?
Both filters operate in stereo, with modulation of left and right channels that can be linked or independent. This architecture allows the construction of spatial movements on tracks.
What modulations does Polyverse Supermodal offer?
Four slots accommodate Meta control, an ADSR envelope, an envelope follower, a sequencer, MIDI/CV triggers, or a randomizer. Cross-modulation between these slots enables interaction between multiple sources. Almost all parameters can receive modulation.
Can the filter reach self-oscillation?
The 24 dB per octave state-variable filter offers high-pass, band-pass, and low-pass modes, with resonance that can reach self-oscillation. The Drive circuit adds warmth and the Blend control allows continuous morphing with the modal filter.
