Spark CAB 2: The Natural Evolution to Complete the Spark Family
The Spark CAB 2 was conceived as the "larger companion" to Spark amps: the same plug-and-play philosophy, but with the projection and breadth of an active cabinet designed to step out of the living room. This new version has been redesigned inside and out, with acoustic tuning and an updated audio path to maintain clean and stable reproduction when the volume is increased. In terms of appearance, it is designed to visually integrate with the latest Sparks, with matching finishes available in Black and Pearl. For Which Musicians and Contexts?
The Spark CAB 2 is aimed equally at beginner guitarists who finally want to "feel the air move," and experienced musicians seeking a simple, reliable, and coherent solution to rehearse, record, or perform live with their Spark sounds. It excels when using modeled sounds (crystal-clear clean, punchy crunch, modern high-gain) and when you want to hear them with more breadth and presence without changing your presets or playing style. Thanks to its FRFR approach, it also fits very well with current setups: floorboards, multi-effects, digital preamps, amp simulators, or "amp-in-a-box" pedals with line-level output. In short: if your sound is already shaped by a cabinet/IR simulation, the Spark CAB 2 is there to amplify it authoritatively, not to recolor it.
