Hi, I am really not disappointed with my purchase. From the first use the sound was clear and natural without equalisation, both on alto and tenor. The treble in particular stays nice even when playing hard. The fixing clip is (almost too) hard, does not move. The adapter contains a low cut that can be used to reduce shock and key noises (not indicated on the instructions!) , it can be clipped onto the belt, I chose to mount a small carabiner to attach it directly to the sax. Beware of the very thin cable: I followed the advice of a pro, who told me to tape it to the microphone holder and the adapter to avoid accidental tearing. (Wise precaution, the cable got caught once in the saxophone stand!)
In short, happiness at an incredible price.Automatically translated

Questions frequently asked
Is the Prodipe SB21 Lanen compatible with a tenor saxophone?
This model is suitable for tenor saxophone, as well as alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone, tuba, and French horn. Its rubber clip is designed to fit the bell without leaving marks.
What is the maximum sound pressure level this brass instrument microphone can handle?
The electret capsule accepts a maximum sound pressure level of 140 dB. This capacity accommodates the strong dynamics produced by brass instruments on stage.
Can this clip microphone be connected directly to a mixing console?
The supplied XLR adapter allows wired use on an input requiring 48 V phantom power. The specified impedance is 2.2 kOhms and sensitivity reaches -47 dB ±3 dB at 1 kHz. A wireless connection is also possible with the Prodipe DSP - UHF Bodypack Instrument.
Does the mounting hold well on a trumpet bell?
The mounting combines a fixed rod, a flexible gooseneck, and a rubber clip adapted to the bell. An isolating suspension limits vibrations and mechanical noise.
What directivity is used to reduce bleed on stage?
The unidirectional pattern helps control bleed from other sound sources. The frequency response from 50 Hz to 20 kHz covers the instrument's low end and high harmonics.
