Questions frequently asked
Are the ProMark PMBRM2 suitable for jazz and low-volume concerts?
This model is suitable for jazz, blues, acoustic pop, and light funk. Its sorghum rods produce a softened attack and allow better control of volume levels during live performances.
How to adjust the attack of the Small Broomsticks?
The O-Rings allow adjustment of the rod spread. Open rods favor a wider diffusion, while tightened rods provide a more precise hit on snare, toms, or cymbals.
What material is used for the rods?
The rods are made of sorghum, also called broomcorn. This material offers a natural texture and a more present response than standard brushes.
What is the length of the PMBRM2?
The stated length is 336.5 mm, or 33.65 cm. The diameter is 1.91 cm, providing a compact profile within the range of alternative sound sources.
Is it possible to get a more precise sound than with open brushes?
By tightening the O-Rings, the attack becomes more focused. The hybrid design, positioned between brushes and rods, maintains a stable grip while allowing articulation variation.
