In this Custom 24 Piezo version, it retains the classic mahogany/carved maple recipe while adding an LR Baggs/PRS piezo system designed to offer a dual-sound palette especially useful in studio and on stage. The "Black Gold Wraparound Burst" finish highlights the carved top and premium PRS aesthetics.

Who is it for and what styles?

This PRS targets intermediate to professional guitarists who want a solidbody capable of covering multiple genres without compromise: rock, pop, funk, fusion, prog, and modern metal. The 25" / 635 mm scale length, 10" / 254 mm radius, and "Thin" neck profile promote precision, comfortable stretches, and fast runs, with excellent upper fret access thanks to the 24 frets.

Sound

The PRS DMO humbuckers deliver a wide and expressive response: sharp attacks, singing mids, and silky highs, with enough density for modern distortion while maintaining clarity in chords. The 5-position selector, combined with volume and tone controls, allows switching from tight rhythms to fluid leads with natural sustain, enhanced by the mahogany body and carved maple top construction. The LR Baggs/PRS piezo, controlled by a 3-position selector and "Blend" control, provides rich, detailed tones with attack, which can be isolated for more "acoustic" parts or blended with magnetic pickups for a highly effective hybrid tone in the mix. The PRS Gen III vibrato completes the package with a smooth feel and excellent tuning stability.

Recommended compatible accessories

To stay close to the standard feel, a set of nickel electric strings with a gauge of 10-46 is perfect. If you want to exploit the circuit separation, plan for two 6.35 mm mono jack cables (one for magnetic signal, one for piezo); otherwise, a single cable suffices for mixed output via the "Blend". A comfortable strap and a solidbody guitar stand are also good additions for transport and daily use.
