The mahogany body provides a warm foundation, solid low-mids, and generous sustain, while the mango top adds a livelier response and clearer attack, useful for maintaining definition in chords. The pair of Seymour Duncan Holcomb signature humbuckers is designed for firm and precise lows, excellent note separation, and consistent articulation in low tunings. The 5-position selector switch allows switching from full sounds (humbuckers) to finer, brighter textures via coil splitting (positions 2 and 4), handy for transitioning between rhythm and clean parts without changing guitars.
