The sound

The combination of a solid mahogany body and a carved maple top gives a character that is both warm and precise: mahogany provides body, rich mids, and a nice roundness, while maple enhances attack, definition, and brightness. The TCI pickups (treble and bass) deliver a very musical response, with a good balance between dynamics and sustain, and the middle NS-01 pickup brings clearer and sharper sounds for the intermediate positions. The 5-position selector facilitates access to pickup groups, while the push/pull tone control allows engaging both humbuckers to activate the three pickups simultaneously.
