Its clear and articulate sounds suit funk, pop, indie, and RnB parts, while the humbucker in the treble position provides the necessary thickness for rock, blues, and singing leads. Thanks to the 5-position selector and push/pull tone control, you can easily switch from bright cleans to dense saturation without losing the PRS identity.

The Sound

The combination of a maple top and mahogany back provides a very balanced foundation: maple adds attack, precision, and excellent chord clarity, while mahogany reinforces the low-midrange, roundness, and sustain. On the pickups side, the PRS Narrowfield (bass and middle) stand out with very focused clarity, ideal for detailed rhythms and arpeggios that remain clean in the mix. The 58/15 LT in the treble position completes the set with a warmer and more expressive register, perfect for solos and nuanced crunch tones. The patented PRS tremolo allows exploration of subtle vibratos and more pronounced effects while maintaining a stable and musical response.
