The treble PRS DS-01 pickup delivers a bright and "punchy" register, with a very responsive attack bite. The push/pull tone control splits the DS-01 into a single coil for snappier, airier textures. In the bass position, the PRS Narrowfield offers precise articulation and defined mids, perfect for clear arpeggios as well as dense riffs. The plate-style bridge with 2 brass saddles enhances dynamics and sustain, while the mahogany body and 25" / 635 mm scale length provide an ideal balance between string tension and tonal warmth.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

• Nickel-plated steel electric string set, gauge 10-46 (factory installed) to maintain the Vela's tension/attack balance. A "nitro-safe" guitar stand is also recommended to preserve the finish.
