In 2024, the S2 series evolves with the integration of pickups and electronic components made in the USA, further enhancing the PRS character and value of this range.

The Sound

The combination of a solid mahogany body and set neck provides a rich sonic foundation, with present low mids, a smooth attack, and long sustain-ideal for bends and singing solos. The PRS 58/15 LT pickups (bridge and neck) deliver a balanced tone: clear highs without harshness and mids that naturally stand out in the mix. The 5-position selector, paired with volume and tone controls, expands the palette from a full, powerful sound to finer, more articulated textures, perfect with an amp directly or through a pedalboard.
