The 2025 model, made in the USA, the Swamp Ash Special brings a unique visual and sonic identity to the PRS Bolt-On range. The swamp ash enhances the sense of dynamics and clarity, while the modernized electronics with two dedicated splits (a first for this model) push sonic exploration even further without sacrificing output level consistency between positions.

The Sound
The humbucker duo 58/15 LT frames a central PRS Narrowfield, designed to provide a finer, more articulated single coil color without intrusive background noise. The volume, tone, 5-position selector, and splits open up a very broad playground: open tone for brightness and attack, reduced tone for more density and growl. The result remains musical and balanced, with solid lows, bright yet smooth highs, and that "twang" that makes all the difference on punchy rhythms and expressive leads.

The guitar is strung with 10-46 gauge strings: a replacement set of the same gauge is ideal to maintain the feel and balance of the tremolo. It comes with a Premium gig bag, perfect for regular transport.
