What PSP auralBundle Is For
PSP auralBundle is aimed at sound engineers, mixers, and postproduction studios working in multichannel (surround) and immersive audio. The bundle's goal is simple: on one hand, to offer coherent and musical multichannel dynamics management (auralComp), and on the other, an ultra-practical calibration and correction tool to adjust each channel of a bus (auralControl). Whether you're preparing an immersive mix, consolidating stems, or correcting multichannel reverb, you gain control, speed, and reliability.
Main Features
PSP auralComp: Multichannel Compressor and Limiter Tailored for Immersive Audio
PSP auralComp (nicknamed "Avocado") is a multichannel compressor/limiter designed to remain powerful without complicating usability. It can process up to 16 channels of compression within the same multichannel bus, with a clear approach: familiar controls, readable display, and the ability to link channels to apply the same settings to a group (ideal when you want to homogenize rear channels, height channels, or a set of ambiences).
To adapt to real sessions, auralComp offers selectable speaker configurations (from simple setups to immersive layouts), allowing you to switch from one project to another without wasting time rebuilding routing. In stereo, it can also be configured in Mid-Side mode to sculpt the dynamics of center and sides precisely, useful for stabilizing a stereo image while maintaining width.
The dynamics section relies on a high-quality opto compressor, complemented by a brick wall limiter at the output to secure peaks and maintain final level control. The whole is enhanced by an advanced sidechain architecture: eight sidechain sub-mixes and sidechain filters that allow triggering compression in a more musical way (for example, avoiding excessive low-end energy from pumping the entire bus).
PSP auralControl: Channel-by-Channel Adjustment, Correction, and Monitoring
PSP auralControl is the "Swiss Army knife" tool for surround projects: it allows you to adjust level, polarity, bandwidth (via filters), and timing (delay) of each channel in a multichannel set. Where some corrections become tedious in a DAW (imbalance in a multichannel stem, center too forward, LFE too intrusive, ceiling channels to clean up, etc.), auralControl centralizes adjustments in a single screen, with an immediate "studio" logic.
It includes per-channel faders with peak meters, Mute/Solo buttons to check an isolated channel (or control a pair of channels), as well as adjustable Delay Time, High-Pass Filter, and Low-Pass Filter settings. For immersive mixes, this is a major time saver: you can filter unnecessary energy on certain groups, protect the low end by finely managing the LFE, or create differentiated depths and pre-delays by zone (front, rear, sides, tops) to improve the clarity of multichannel effects and reverbs.
The workflow is enhanced by predefined or custom groups, as well as relative or inverted linking behaviors (useful, for example, to raise the front while lowering the rear). Finally, auralControl also supports Mid-Side operations on stereo tracks, making it a relevant tool even outside surround to refine a stereo bus technically and quickly.

Questions frequently asked
Does the PSP auralBundle work on Apple Silicon Mac?
The bundle is compatible with OS X 10.12 through macOS 13 Ventura, on both Intel and Apple Silicon processors.
Which plug-in formats are available?
VST-3, AU, and AAX formats are supported. Therefore, integration is provided in host environments compatible with these formats on macOS.
How many channels can the PSP auralComp compressor process?
The auralComp section can handle up to 16 channels within a multichannel bus. Configurations ranging from stereo to Mid-Side are selectable. Support extends to 7.1.2 in Pro Tools and 7.1.4 in Nuendo.
Can the LFE and height channels be adjusted separately?
Each channel can receive individual adjustments for level, polarity, delay, high-pass filter, and low-pass filter. Faders with peak meters, as well as Mute and Solo functions, facilitate control of the LFE or ceiling channels.
Does the PSP Auralbundle offer sidechain for immersive mixing?
Eight sidechain submixes and sidechain filters enable defining the triggering of compression on auralComp.
